Chris,
Heard this song in the early am on KWVE yesterday. I drive a trash truck in the I.E. for a living and your song made things hard with tears filling my eyes. It was like somebody had been eavesdropping on my prayers. Later that same day I heard you on Scott Cunningham’s radio program.
This morning I went to YouTube and checked out some more of your work then went to iTunes and downloaded a bunch of it. I love your sound and identify with where your heart is coming from.
The shadow really got me because that’s been my meditation for about a month now…it started in Mat 11 with Jesus asking us to take His yoke. I sat on that for a while(maybe a week or so) you know just working it in and The Spirit just started stirring up scriptures from the back of mind. Within moments He gave me “how can two walk” from Amos 3…”shade on my right hand” from Psalm 121…”abide in the shadow” from Psalm 91. Now I’m not claiming to have gotten chap, vs, and words…I had to look them up but He did dig up the remembrance of it all and as they fell into place I got a mental picture of a warrior in prayer, with a shield in his left hand, the shadow of God from his right, marching to the battle in the hot summer sun.
So, for what it’s worth, thank you from a brother in Christ.
Kenny
